-About Us-
When Diamond Brand Gear first came to the heart of the Smokey Mountains, sewing and craft were a dominant aspect of daily life in Asheville. We got our start in a small, defunct hosiery mill that quickly turned into a thriving factory. When the textile industry began to offshore their facilities, we made it our mission to revive the art of sewing and keep production in the USA. We are committed to the preservation of craftsmanship, the formation of a greener economy, and the creation of durable goods that enhance the experience of all adventurers. Thus the Moonrise Project was born to help elevate our scraps and help the world through Reclaiming, Reusing, and Recreating.
