Patchwork Play Tent ‘ American Boro Tent ‘ A-Frame Tent ‘ Upcycled 2- Person Tent ‘ Made in USA
The Moonrise Project puts the sustainability message of Diamond Brand Gear into action. All of our fabric was originally destined for the landfill before we found it and re-purposed it into something new and beautiful!
The Moonrise Project Play Tent is designed around our classic Free Spirit II A-Frame tent; using the same aluminum frame pieces and overall dimensions. To make things more fun we’ve used our American boro patchwork technique to create one-of-a-kind fabric walls made from up-cycled fabric scraps. The doors can be tied open using the integrated ties, or closed using the simple hook and loop tabs. We’ve also included a footprint that is both highly water-resistant and filled with soft batting material for a cushier experience.
This tent is intended for indoor use, or outdoors as long as the weather is nice. We hope that you enjoy using it as much as we did making it!

Country of Origin
When Diamond Brand Gear first came to the heart of the Smokey Mountains, sewing and craft were a dominant aspect of daily life in Asheville. We got our start in a small, defunct hosiery mill that quickly turned into a thriving factory. When the textile industry began to offshore their facilities, we made it our mission to revive the art of sewing and keep production in the USA. We are committed to the preservation of craftsmanship, the formation of a greener economy, and the creation of durable goods that enhance the experience of all adventurers. Thus the Moonrise Project was born to help elevate our scraps and help the world through Reclaiming, Reusing, and Recreating.
