When George Vanderbilt began planning his grand estate, The Biltmore, in Asheville, North Carolina, his vision was twofold. First, he wanted to create a place where he could relax and entertain friends and family. Just as important, however, was his desire to preserve the surrounding beauty. He envisioned a self-sustaining home that would steward the land and its resources for years to come. From this vision came the nation’s first planned forestry program and the beginning of a family focus on the environment.
Diamond Brand Gear shares this mission of environmental stewardship and preserving heritage. Little details throughout the explorer are in celebration of the past. Pulling inspiration from Biltmore saddles and stitching in their equestrian legacy, we constructed this bag to reflect that sense of adventure and connection to the preservation of the land. You are owning a piece of history.
Crafted with luxury and durability as top priorities. Accent artisan fabric from local mill, Oriole, is reinforced and partnered with durable water resistant 18 oz canvas. A high-end look and feel with the durability to make this an heirloom for generations. 6 oz domestically sourced leather acts as reinforcement and adds that extra detail of sophistication. Fully lined polyester interior with YKK zippers and brushed nickel hardware elevates the Biltmore Explorer to a high-end carry all. This bag has been discontinued and will only be available for a limited time.
