creating safe outdoor spaces
As restaurants and other businesses are looking to the outdoors to safely host patrons, our tents are providing shelter in some exciting places.
Adjusting to our “new normal” as COVID-19 continues to spread comes with the task of problem solving: how do we ensure our daily activities are optimized for safety?
Our Parthenon Canopies and canvas wall tents are stable, durable shelters that can provide outdoor shade and covering for your restaurant, office, or school. Additionally, we’re currently offering a 20% discount on orders of 5 or more on all shelters, so now is the time to arrange your outdoor alternatives.
Benefits of being outdoors VS INDOORS
- Indoor spaces have less ventilation and it might be more difficult to keep people apart.
- Whether you are indoors or outdoors, keep at least 6 feet of space between you and others. COVID-19 spreads easier between people who are within 6 feet of each other.
Who can benefit from shelters
Our gear is stronger and more stable than your average pop-up shelter. Our durable canopies and tents provide shade, shelter, and comfort in the outdoors, and the set-up process is much easier than you think.

If your restaurant is accommodating dine-in customers, you’re probably looking for outdoor dining options. Keep guests protected and covered with our shelters—they keep air circulating and provide a safer option for dining in.
12 Bones Smokehouse offers mouth-watering BBQ that BBQ-lovers from all around the nation will appreciate. The 12 Bones team make everything from scratch daily, and they’ve acquired quite a loyal fanbase—including Barack & Michelle Obama, who have chowed down on these famous ribs during multiple visits to Asheville.
Last year, 12 Bones opened a new location in South Asheville, still serving their classic menu while delving into the brewery game as well. Despite this location’s spacious interior, 12 Bones had to adjust and accommodate given the state of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we think our Parthenon Canopies look excellent in their outdoor seating area.
Flat Rock Village Bakery
Turns out that delicious coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and wood-fired pizzas work well together. Flat Rock Village Bakery in Flat Rock, NC has been serving up hand-crafted food since 2001, using the best local ingredients they can find. Flat Rock Village Bakery is using a Parthenon Canopy to cover their pick-up area, where folks can wait outside for their food or coffee.
The Collective is a Seattle-based urban basecamp where locals can craft a home and community based on common interests and shared ventures. In addition to some delicious eats, they heavily focus on community and creating a relaxing, collaborative space for a diverse group of people. The Collective needed some coverage and protection for their outdoor seating area, and it turns out our Warhorse was a perfect fit.
Educators, consider a safer outdoor learning alternative for the classroom this school year. Your students will be grateful for the opportunity to learn in the outdoors, and implementing outdoor learning will provide a lower risk of COVID-19 spreading in your class.
